Jamie Loggins-Evans
Director of Communications & Development
Jamie Loggins-Evans brings both heart and creativity to her role as Director of Communications and Marketing at Project Iowa. A natural storyteller, Jamie is passionate about helping participants share their journeys in ways that are not only empowering, but transformative—for them and for the wider community. She believes deeply in the work being done here and considers it a privilege to amplify the mission of Project Iowa every day.

Originally from a small town in northwestern Iowa, Jamie’s journey has taken her from London to Chicago to Adel, where she now lives with her husband Charlie, son Owen, and their very good dog Buster. She’s an alum of the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) and still gets chills walking into Kinnick Stadium on game day.

Her professional path started in arts fundraising at the Lyric Opera of Chicago—but her creative spark has always burned bright. Whether she’s painting, crafting, reading a great book on her deck, or shopping for just the right shade of scrapbook paper, Jamie finds joy in making things—and in making meaningful connections.

Fun fact: she once auditioned for The Real World: Chicago and even had a cameo in the film Wit, where she met Emma Thompson. But her real claim to fame? Being part of the Project Iowa team, where every day she gets to share stories that change lives.
